Hey! We are Rick & Marie, an Aussie and a Frenchy traveling on our sailboat, Woolamai.

We met 12 years ago working as an Engineer and a Project Manager for the same aerospace company.

Since the very beginning of our relationship, we talked about quitting our jobs and exploring the world.

We ran through several ideas from van life in Europe, backpacking through Asia to buying an airplane to cross Africa (an idea from Rick that I admit, I veto’ed pretty quick).

Eventually, we took the leap, sold our stuff, and swapped our corporate 9-5 jobs for a sailing adventure of a lifetime.
